Privacy notice
Clear handling of personal information.
Effective 24 August 2026. This notice explains the information ACE currently collects through project enquiries, consultation booking, website analytics, and normal business communication.
Who is responsible
Aperture Creative Enterprise (“ACE”) is responsible for the personal information described in this notice. Contact ACE at alain@aperturece.com with a privacy request or question.
Information ACE collects
Project enquiries can include your name, email, company, phone number, service interest, existing website, budget, timeline, and the project description you provide. The name, email, project type, and project description are required to assess and respond; the other form fields are optional.
ACE can also receive consultation-booking details through Cal.com, ordinary business correspondence, and limited website data such as page activity, campaign parameters, referring domain, and anti-abuse challenge results. Do not submit passwords, identity numbers, banking details, health information, or other highly sensitive information through the enquiry form.
Why it is used
ACE uses this information to assess and respond to requests, arrange consultations, provide services, maintain business records, understand which website journeys are useful, secure forms, prevent abuse, and comply with applicable obligations. Enquiry details are not used to add you to a marketing list.
Operators and infrastructure
ACE uses service providers that process information on its behalf: Vercel for website hosting and product analytics, Google Analytics for website measurement, Cloudflare Turnstile for anti-abuse checks, Neon for the application database, Resend for transactional email, and Cal.com for consultation booking. Normal email and communications providers may also process correspondence.
These providers may process or store information outside South Africa. Where cross-border processing occurs, ACE selects established providers and relies on their contractual, organisational, and security measures appropriate to the service.
Retention
Spam enquiries should be deleted or de-identified within 30 days. Closed, unconverted enquiries should be deleted or de-identified approximately 12 months after closure unless a documented business or legal reason requires longer retention. Converted enquiries follow the retention requirements of the corresponding opportunity, client, and business relationship. Analytics and consultation-provider data follow the applicable provider settings and operational need.
Your choices and rights
You may ask ACE to confirm whether it holds your personal information and request access, correction, deletion, restriction, or objection where applicable. Some records may need to be retained for a lawful business or legal reason. Contact alain@aperturece.com; ACE may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.
You may also lodge a complaint with South Africa’s Information Regulator.
